New Delhi [India], September 22 (ANI): BJP MP Anurag Thakur on Sunday launched a scathing attack on Congress and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi and accused them for supporting the "anti-Indians", saying "Congress Ka Haath, Bharat Virodhiyon Ke Saath."
Drawing comparison to NC patron Farooq Abdullah, Thakur alleged that "the way Farooq Abdullah changed statements in Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir," similarly, Rahul Gandhi also changes his statements on foreign land and country.
Speaking to ANI, Thakur said, "The way Farooq Abdullah changed statements in Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir, similarly, Rahul Gandhi changes statements when he is in foreign land. whenever he went on a foreign trip, he disrespected and insulted India and said lies only one after another. Rahul Gandhi has created new records of telling lies. The comments he made on Sikhs about whether it is about wearing turbans, kadas, or kirpan, or it is about going to gurudwara, if Sikhs were disrespected, then it was during the tenure of Rajiv Gandhi, and, in that too, Modi government formed SIT to give justice to the victims."
"Congress Ka Haath, Bharat Virodhiyon Ke Saath. Whenever he went on foreign trips in China, or when he met Chinese officials in India, met anti-India US parliamentarians or whether it is about being pro-Pakistan. Now, the Defence Minister of Pakistan has also said, it is clear that Congress and Pakistan have similar agendas, thoughts and targets," Thakur told ANI.
"While opposing PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi has started opposing India...Congress cannot understand that PM Modi is representing India on his US visit...They always join hands with anti-India forces and meet the US MP who has launched an agenda against India. Rahul Gandhi should feel ashamed of it and apologize to the public..." he added.
Notably, this statement has come after Rahul Gandhi's remarks on reservation in United States during his visit. (ANI)
