New Delhi [India], November 2 (ANI): BJP national spokesperson CR Kesavan slammed Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's remarks on BJP and the central government and dubbed it the party's "desperate panic mode."
Speaking to ANI on Saturday, Kesavan said, "The Congress party is staring at a massive defeat in the upcoming Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections which is why the Congress Party has gone into a desperate panic mode."
"Mallikarjun Kharge's nervous tweets yesterday are a clear-cut concession and admission of this upcoming Congress defeat in the elections. The people of our country very clearly know and understand the defining difference between the Congress party's trickery and Modi's guarantee," he said.
He further said that the Congress party in Rahul Gandhi's 'tughlaqnomics' has failed miserably, and deceived people with false promises.
"The Congress Party's trickery based on Rahul Gandhi's irrational 'tughlaqnomics' of bogus and false promises and pledges has repeatedly deceived and failed the people. On the other hand, Modi Ki guarantee has ushered in tectonic development in people's lives and transformed our nation," he said.
Earlier on Friday, Kharge criticised the BJP and said that lies, deceit, fraud, loot and publicity are the five adjectives that best define the BJP government at the centre. He highlighted that the 'B' in BJP stands for betrayal, while the 'J' stands for JUMLA!
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari earlier hit out at the Congress chief over his remarks and alleged that Kharge is frustrated and has begun to question his leader Rahul Gandhi's khata khat statement.
Tiwari further claimed that the Congress president is not appreciated within the party and that the party had turned its back on him during Priyanka Gandhi's nomination process.
"This is Kharge ji's definition. When Priyanka Gandhi's nomination was being done, he was kept out by the Congress people. So does the Congress consider Kharge ji as their president? If they don't respect him, why should we listen to him? Kharge ji keeps saying anything. He says we have 20 lakh people, but we have made 10 crore members support and you see How the Haryana was won?," he said.
"It was won because of Modi ji's commitment and dedication towards his work. Kharge ji is frustrated because his own party does not respect him. Today he is even speaking ill of Rahul Gandhi. He has questioned Rahul Gandhi's khata khat remark. First, they should sort out their own differences," he added. (ANI)
