Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], February 27 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Finance Minister OP Choudhary on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Congress and called its politics "misleading".
GDP growth of Chhattisgarh is below the national average, said the minister.
Per capita income in Chhattisgarh is 1.47 lakh and the growth rate is less as compared to the national average which is a matter of serious concern, he said.
The state government led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has a vision to develop Chhattisgarh as Viksit Chhattisgarh in 2047 (on the line of Viksit Bharat), he said.
He also recalled the contribution of Ram Chandra Singhdeo, the first finance minister of Chhattisgarh.
He also pointed out the need for green GDP and assured that the state government will work on the direction of renewable energy.
In 2018, when Congress was ruling the state, the state government had taken a loan of Rs 11,000 cr while the incumbent government has taken a loan of 13,000 cr, said the minister.
Under the leadership of the Modi Goverment, inflation will not impact the country, he said.
The state government is determined for GYAN (Garib, Yuva, Annadaata and Naari), said the finance minister.
The previous government had promised to pay unemployment allowance to 10 lakh youths but no provision was made in the first, second, third and fourth year, claimed Choudhary.
The budget of several departments has been hiked, he said.
The government is committed to looking after the monetary angle as well as the threat of religious conversion, said the minister.
The state government has taken the decision of CBI probe in PSC irregularity, and the reformatary committee will be formed to protect the interest of Chhattisgarh's youth and inculcate best practices in government, said the minister.
Congress is not capable of understanding the nerves of the public in the country and this is the reason for Congress's condition today, said Choudhary while commenting on the remarks made by LoP regarding 'Modi ki Guarantee.'
India is playing a leading role on every front, said the minister while highlighting the status of PM Modi in international affairs. (ANI)
