New Delhi [India], Apr 19 (ANI): As the Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath completes one month, let's have a look at the key poll promises and their delivery. . It was promised that crop loans of all small and marginal farmers will be waived off in the state. . The Uttar Pradesh Government announced a farm loan waiver which will cover small and marginal farmers with debt up to Rs. one lakh. . Sale of sugarcane at fair prices; farmers to get cheques within 14 days was promised. . The Uttar Pradesh Government directed sugar mills to pay farmers' old dues within 120 days and current dues within 14 days. . On the law and order front, anti-romeo squad has been formed to keep a vigil to check incidents of harassing. . Ministers, MLAs and bureaucrats have been asked to furnish details on income, movable and immovable assets. . On the education front, a review meeting decided new rules to be framed to keep a check on high fees. Meanwhile, the public has also shown its appreciation to the Chief Minister's actions since assuming office, which range from women safety to farmers benefits. "I think public's demand and expectation are being fulfilled. Be it Triple Talaq, women's security, safety of children in educational institutions or all those development related issues which were on hold. Poor people are receiving immense help regarding health problems. The most important thing is public's faith in him. They know that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is Yogi Adityanath who will provide every possible security and facility to them," Prem Prakash Kapoor, a localite told ANI. Adityanath's anti-romeo squad has been a major hit among locals, who think that the step will surely take down criminals targeting women, "He has shown his determination since day one. Women security is increasing with the anti-romeo squad. He is doing an excellent job," said. Dharmendra Singh Earlier today, the Uttar Pradesh government ordered strict implementation of liquor ban at religious places of Vrindavan in Mathura, Ayodhya in Faizabad, Chitrakoot Naimisharanya in Sitapur, Deva Shareef in Barabanki and Devband in Saharanpur districts. Yogi Adityanath said that any negligence in this regard will be taken up seriously and officials responsible for it will be punished. (ANI)
