Chhattisgarh: CRPF jawan commits suicide while on duty

Dhamtari (Chhattisgarh) [India], May 12 (ANI): A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan named Jeevan Lal Kuldeep, allegedly committed suicide on Friday by shooting himself with his service rifle while on duty in Chhattisgarh's Dhamtari.

Dhamtari (Chhattisgarh) [India], May 12 (ANI): A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan named Jeevan Lal Kuldeep, allegedly committed suicide on Friday by shooting himself with his service rifle while on duty in Chhattisgarh's Dhamtari. Meanwhile, the police have started investigating the cause of his death. Earlier in the day, another CRPF jawan Anil Kumar of 35 Battalion allegedly committed suicide inside a paramilitary force training centre in Humhama area of Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district. Reportedly, he was found dead by his colleagues inside his room at the Regional Training Centre of the CRPF. A probe is currently underway in this regard. (ANI)
