Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], July 18 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday attended a programme called "Good Governance Dialogue" in Delhi and shared the Chhattisgarh government's activities over the past seven months and explained how these efforts have won the trust of the people.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai narrated the state's development journey and stated, "Chhattisgarh has been crafted by God with great care. The state, rich in natural and mineral resources, holds immense potential We are also conducting research on the state's forest wealth, which will significantly contribute to taking the state to the next level of development in the coming years."
Vishnu Deo Sai remembered the tenure of Raman Singh and said, "During his tenure, Chhattisgarh established an identity. The public of Chhattisgarh has chosen Raman Singh Ji for 15 years and during his tenure, significant progress was made in the sectors of roads, electricity, water, and education throughout the entire region, and Chhattisgarh established an identity."
CM Sai attacked the previous government of Congress and said, "After Raman Singh's Chhattisgarh went back into the hands of Congress, during those five years, the state regressed significantly in terms of development. There were scams everywhere--scams in coal, sand, and liquor."
Highlighting the governance of Prime Minister Modi, CM Sai asserted, "The Prime Minister resolves that farmers' income should double, every person in Chhattisgarh should progress, and everyone should enjoy basic facilities."
Speaking about Suraksha Kendra, he said, "We have opened approximately 33 security centres. A security centre means providing all government facilities to all villages within a 5-kilometer radius."
In this programme, Home Minister Vijay Sharma also shared his experience of 6 months of government.
Addressing the Naxal issue, he said, "Naxalism is our top priority. Through collaborative efforts and innovative strategies, we aim to ensure peace and security in Chhattisgarh. The Naxalite agenda in Chhattisgarh is often exaggerated. In my view, there is nothing significant about the Naxalite agenda. We have taken many necessary steps to eradicate Naxalism, and I assure you that in the next 2-3 years, you will be able to enjoy sitting by the Indravati River in Bastar."
Chhattisgarh's Chief Minister was on a visit to Delhi. During his visit, he met with Home Minister Amit Shah, Mansukh Mandaviya, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. (ANI)
