Patna (Bihar) [India], June 1 (ANI): After the release of exit poll predictions for the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Rajya Sabha MP and RJD leader Manoj Jha said that he and his party do not believe in exit polls and the Lok Sabha elections in 2004 and 2009 too had proved otherwise.
"I have gone through many exit polls. My party and I never believed in it. We have many examples including the 2004 and 2009 Lok Sabha elections which proved otherwise. I feel that the channels have received instructions from the PMO. They must have spent so much on these channels. I was a part of Tejashwi's campaign and it created a wave of transformation amongst people. I feel that we will win over 25 seats in Bihar," said Manoj Jha.

Speaking on the same BJP leader Ajay Alok hailed exit poll predictions and said, "We have voted to end the demonic powers in the country. Finally, they will be doomed. Under the leadership of PM Modi, NDA will form a government with a high majority. People have voted in the name of development. They (Rahul Gandhi) ran away from Amethi and today from exit polls. They (Congress leaders) will leave the country once the results come out."

JDU leader Arvind Nishad said that the exit polls have showed where the polls are heading. "The way exit polls are indicating we are sure that the BJP will cross 370 seats and the NDA will cross 400 seats under the leadership of PM Modi," he added.

Another JDU leader Abhishek Jha said that the voters have hugely voted in favour of BJP. "Exit polls show that the NDA will form a government with a full majority. With full respect for exit poll agencies, I want to differ from their predictions for Bihar. I feel that 40 out of 40 seats will be won by NDA," he added.

Launching an attack against the INDIA alliance, JDU leader Neeraj Kumar said, "INDIA alliance has organised a meet and concluded that they will win 295 seats. This shows they have accepted the defeat. Different parties in the INDIA alliance kept fighting with each other. On the other hand, Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister for the 3rd time. The exit polls have clarified that the NDA government will be formed again."
Notably, the exit polls predicted a comfortable victory for the NDA in Bihar in the Lok Sabha polls.
Bihar's voting was conducted in all seven phases for 40 Lok Sabha seats.
According to the Republic Bharat Matrize Exit Poll, the NDA is projected to win between 32-37 seats, while the INDIA bloc may secure between 2-7 seats.
The REPUBLIC-P Marq Exit Poll forecasts the NDA winning 37 seats and the INDIA bloc securing 3 seats in Bihar.
The News 24-Today's Chanakya exit poll predicts the NDA will win 36 seats, with the INDIA bloc taking 4 seats.
The India Today-Axis My India poll suggests the BJP will win 13-15 seats, while the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) is expected to win 9-11 seats. The Congress could win 1-2 seats, and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is projected to secure 6-7 seats. Other parties might win between 1 and 6 seats. (ANI)
