Chandrababu Naidu has no moral right to continue as CM: Jagan Reddy

Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), [India], March 5 (ANI): Chandrababu Naidu has no moral right to continue as Chief Minister after the data theft scandal broke out, YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said on Tuesday.
"Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has no moral right to continue as Chief Minister after the data theft scandal broke out in the state. What Naidu has been telling is a rewind of what he told when his involvement in the cash for vote was exposed in 2015," said Reddy.
Alleging that the Naidu government and IT Grids have breached Aadhar data which was even objected by the apex court, Reddy asserted: "The data of citizens was harvested by two private companies through the app that the IT Grids developed for the TDP in the name of Seva Mitra. The state government and IT Grids have breached the Aadhar data which was even objected by rthe Supreme Court."
Reddy was addressing the Samara Sankharavam meeting which was attended by booth level workers and party supporters here.
Continuing his tirade against Naidu, Reddy said: "Besides IT Grids, the Bluefrogs of Vizag have been engaged in the data harvesting. The personal information of all residents of the state has been procured and stored in the servers of the two companies which are being used for political gains. How the confidential data was linked to private companies is a matter of criminal intent."
"The heads of the two companies are very close to Chandrababu and his son Nara Lokesh. This shows how the government has been working along with private players, leaking the confidential data of residents of the state, including bank details and Aadhar number."
Claiming that Naidu government has been tampering VVPATs and EVMs, Reddy said: "The names of those who are not in favour of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) are being deleted with the help of two private companies."
"When we brought the discrepancies to the notice of Election Commission in Delhi and Chief Electoral Officer in the state, the TDP started levelling baseless allegations against us. When they are caught red-handed and raids took place, Chandrababu Naidu sent Andhra police to Hyderabad following a WhatsApp message and started playing the same old tune when his name figured in the cash for vote. He is using the state police as a personal watchman," said Reddy, adding that the Chief Minister has been misusing official machinery to collect information and use them to their advantage.
"Our fight is not only against the TDP but also against bogus pollsters, biased media, money power and unethical practices," he added. (ANI)
