"Chacha Nitish is in state of unconsciousness, unable to manage Bihar": Tejashwi Yadav takes jibe at Bihar CM

These developments came ahead of the assembly elections in Bihar, expected to take place later this year. Months ahead of the elections, the battle has been intensifying between the grand alliance Mahagathbandhan, led by RJD and Congress and the ruling NDA, which includes BJP, JUD, LJP (Ram Vilas) and HAM. Patna (Bihar) [India], June 25 (ANI): Bihar Leader of Opposition (LoP) and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday took a jibe at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying that he is in an "unconscious" state and is "unable" to manage the state.
Alleging that corruption is prevailing on a large scale in the state, the Bihar LoP claimed that bribery has become a "tradition" in Nitish Kumar's reign. He further alleged that law and order have been deteriorating in the state.
Yadav made these remarks during the event when former Janata Dal United MP and MLA Renu Devi Kushwaha, and Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) leader Raghvendra Kushwaha joined RJD today.
Speaking at the event, Tejashwi Yadav said, "We are the people who work. In our 17-month government, we increased the reservation limit and conducted a caste-based census. When we implemented 65% reservation, these same BJP people blocked the reservation and took it to the Court... Even now, Nitish Kumar is maintaining silence. Now our chacha Nitish Kumar is in a state of unconsciousness. He is unable to manage Bihar. Rapes are happening in broad daylight, bullets are being fired, but no action is being taken against anyone. No work is being done without paying a bribe... In Nitish Kumar's rule, bribery has become a tradition. Everyone is troubled by unemployment, by inflation, by poverty, by migration.
As two Kushwaha leaders, each from JDU and JAP joined RJD, Yadav claimed that the Kushwaha community is joining his party in large numbers, and vowed to work towards creating a new Bihar - free from unemployment, inflation, poverty, and corruption.
He said, "The Kushwaha community is joining the party in large numbers. We had said earlier that if the Kushwaha community takes one step, Tejashwi Yadav will take four steps.... Together, we will create a new Bihar where unemployment ends, inflation ends, poverty ends, corruption ends..."
