"Till today, 29 lakh women have received the fund of the Mahila Udyamita Scheme. Today, this fund will be distributed in Sonai and East Goalpara constituency. A total of 33.50 lakh women will get benefits," Himanta Biswa Sarma told reporters.

The post also highlighted the 2020 COVID-19 oxygen crisis, when families stood in long lines outside hospitals and suppliers as the public health system collapsed.

Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta said that the Vaishya community has a vital role to play in realising Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047'.

"No funds have been given under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Money has also not been allocated for the education sector, and even for the MGNREGA scheme. The people of Tamil Nadu are well aware of the lack of financial support from the Centre," he said.
