CEC to visit Lucknow, Imphal to check poll preparedness

New Delhi, [India] Sept 19 (ANI): Chief Election Commissioner Syed Nasim Zaidi and Election Commissioners will review poll preparedness in Lucknow and Imphal ahead of Assembly elections Zaidi along with Election Commissioners is scheduled to visit Manipur tomorrow, while the team will visit Lucknow on September 26. Legislative assembly election will be held in 2017 for the 403 seats of the Vidhan Sabha in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The dates of the election are yet to be announced. The Manipur Assembly elections are also slated for early next year.(ANI)
