CBI arrests Northern Railway officer for demanding Rs. one lakh bribe

Moradabad, Aug 23 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested a senior divisional finance manager, Northern Railways (NR) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. one lakh from a complainant.

Moradabad, Aug 23 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested a senior divisional finance manager, Northern Railways (NR) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. one lakh from a complainant. A case was registered on a complaint alleging that the accused was demanding a bribe of Rs. one lakh from the complainant in lieu of discharge of official functions. The CBI laid a trap and the accused was caught red handed while demanding and accepting a bribe from the Complainant. The arrested accused will be produced tomorrow in the designated court. (ANI)
