BRS and Congress are "B team" of each other, AIMIM is "C team" for both : Union Minister G Kishan Reddy

New Delhi [India], October 19 (ANI): Accusing the Congress of deliberately trying to create confusion in the minds of the voters by spreading canards about the Bharatiya Janata Party having a secret alliance with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Union Minister and bjp-president">Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy said that BRS is the B team of Congress and the grand old party serves as B team for BRS.
Earlier in the day, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged a secret alliance of BJP, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and AIMIM against Congress in Telangana.
"He (Rahul Gandhi) should understand who is the B team for whom. BRS is the B team of Congress and Congress is the B team of BRS. And the AIMIM party is the C team for both of them... Rahul Gandhi's memory is very weak. We cannot do anything about it, all we can suggest is to get proper treatment," Kishan Reddy said.
He further dared Rahul Gandhi for a public debate to determine whether the Congress or the BJP is the real 'B' team of the BRS. The debate can either be held at the Press Club in Delhi or Hyderabad.
"Decide the time, Delhi Press Club or Hyderabad Press Club, Congress and BRS are each others' B teams, and both of them together are the Majlis party's C team... Reading what is written on paper is not a huge thing. Rahul Gandhi should have a deeper understanding of political history and the current reality... Dont just read what is written on the paper... People of Telangana are smart, they are not trusting you," he added.
I challenge Congress Party leader Rahul Gandhi for a public debate on who is the 'B' team - Congress or BJP - to the BRS, either at the Press Club in Delhi or Hyderabad," he said.
Questioning Congress leader, bjp-president">Telangana BJP President said that in 2004, wasn't it the Congress Party that entered into an alliance with the BRS party and shared power both at the State and Centre?
He further questioned whether the people of Telangana are unaware of the alliances and meetings among political parties. He also pointed out that Rahul Gandhi seemed to have forgotten that the BRS was part of the Congress-led government under Manmohan Singh.
"Do you think people of Telangana are not aware of which parties are in alliance and the meetings that are taking place? Does Rahul Gandhi not know that BRS was a part of the Congress-led Government under Shri Manmohan Singh? Has Rahul Gandhi forgotten that KCR was made a Union Minister in the Congress government? Rahul Gandhi is a person who does not have minimum political knowledge," he said.
He further alleged that eight MLAs of the Congress Party joined the BRS after winning the 2014 elections and 12 MLAs of the Congress Party joined the BRS party after winning the 2018 elections - Isn't it amply clear who is the B Team of BRS?
"Before talking about BJP, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi should answer all these questions. Lies and falsehoods are the Congress way of life. Cheating is the standard playbook of the Congress Party" he added.
Earlier, Telangana IT and Industries minister, KT Rama Rao (KTR), while addressing the public in Telangana Bhavan, hit out at the Congress party saying that the party is the C-Team of the country which means "chor team".
"Yesterday Rahul Gandhi said we are B- team of BJP. We are not BJP's B team, you are the only C-team in the country. C-team means "chor team". You have done A to Z scams. A means Adarsh scam, B means Bofors scam, C means Commonwealth scam and if we continue to say, it still will go on till Z," KTR said.
Telangana is set to witness a triangular contest between the BJP, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and the Congress in the upcoming assembly election.
In the previous Assembly election held in 2018, BRS managed to win 88 seats out of 119 and had a dominant vote share of 47.4 per cent. Congress came in a distant second with 19 seats. Its vote share was 28.7 per cent. (ANI)
