New Delhi [India], Nov. 8 (ANI): At least 32 Indian peacemakers were injured in a roadside blast on the outskirts of the Congolese city of Goma on Tuesday.

Blast injures 32 Indian solders in Congo
New Delhi [India], Nov. 8 (ANI): At least 32 Indian peacemakers were injured in a roadside blast on the outskirts of the Congolese city of Goma on Tuesday. According to army sources, the soldiers were moving for a physical training exercise when the incident happened. Two of the soldiers have gone through a surgery at a UN military hospital and their condition is said to be stable. As per information, the 3500 soldier ( 4 battalion ) of Indian army was deployed in Congo for peace keeping mission. The UN Mission in DR Congo (MONUSCO) has more than 20,000 troops in the country protecting civilians and disarming dozens of rebel and splinter groups after two decades of conflict in the east of the country.
