BJP's Working President Nitin Nabin to participate in Assam State Executive meet on Dec 26-27

The newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party National working President, Nitin Nabin is set to participate in the State Executive Meeting scheduled to be held on 26 and 27 December at the Kalakshetra Auditorium in Guwahati, along with several other important organisational meetings.

Guwahati (Assam) [India], December 23 (ANI): The newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party National Working President, Nitin Nabin, is set to participate in the State Executive Meeting scheduled to be held from December 26 to December 27 at the Kalakshetra Auditorium in Guwahati, along with several other critical organisational meetings.
He will arrive in Assam on December 26 on a two-day visit.
In a press statement issued today, the Vice-President of BJP Assam Pradesh, Manoj Baruah, stated that the forthcoming State Executive Meeting will comprehensively deliberate on the state's current political situation, undertake an in-depth analysis of organisational matters, and hold detailed discussions on electoral strategy and policy.
In essence, he said, this Executive Meeting will lay down the definitive roadmap for the 2026 Assam Legislative Assembly elections.
The meeting will witness the presence of several senior leaders, including National Organisation General Secretary BL Santosh, BJP Assam's Election In-Charge and National Vice-President Baijayant Jay Panda, Co-In-Charge Sunil Sharma, BJP North East Coordinator Sambit Patra, State In-Charge Harish Dwivedi, National Secretary Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, along with Rituraj Sharma, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, and Pabitra Margherita.
The meeting will feature a special address by the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and will be presided over by the President of BJP Assam Pradesh, Dilip Saikia. All Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, state office-bearers, executive members, national council members, state council members, and nearly 800 party karyakartas of the Assam BJP will participate, with the collective objective of gearing up for the 2026 Assembly elections.
The State Executive Meeting will commence at 2:30 pm on December 26 and conclude at 2:30 pm on December 27. In addition, meetings of the State Election Management Committee and the Manifesto Drafting Committee will be held on 27 December.
Later in the evening, a meeting of the BJP Assam Pradesh Core Committee will also be convened in the presence of National Working President Nitin Nabin. On December 26, upon his arrival in Assam after assuming charge as national working President, Nitin Nabin will be accorded a warm and enthusiastic welcome by party workers and supporters at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati.
