Cuttack (Odisha) [India], September 7 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party's double-engine government in Odisha is a people's government.
Odisha CM, while speaking at the 'booth level' membership drive at Barang under Banki Assembly Constituency in Cuttack district, said, "BJP is the largest party and has a different ideology to develop people all around. BJP has a double-engine government in Odisha, and it's the people's government in Odisha. We want a developed Odisha, a new Odisha," CM Majhi said.
He also targeted the former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, saying, "Previous BJD government failed to open Lord Jagannath's Ratna Bhandar, but under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, new BJP government took the decision in its first cabinet and opened the four gates as well as Ratna Bhandar of Lord Jagannath."
On September 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the BJP's 2024 membership drive by renewing his membership.
The new membership drive was launched with PM Modi getting the certificate for the renewal of his membership from BJP president JP Nadda at the 'Sanghatan Parva, Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024'.
