BJP's Bhuvan Tanwar files nomination papers for Delhi polls, says AAP's "gungi-behri sarkar" will be ousted

New Delhi [India], January 17 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Delhi Cantt constituency Bhuvan Tanwar filed his nomination papers for Delhi assembly elections and attacked the AAP government on Friday.
He expressed confidence in the BJP winning the polls and said party workers were committed to oust the "gungi-behri" government in the national capital.
"I want to thank the BJP high command, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president JP Nadda and top leadership for showing faith in me. I also want to extend special gratitude to Bansuri Swaraj, who is like my elder sister, for her blessings and faith in me," Tanwar said.
He alleged that "behri-gungi" AAP government had not worked for the Delhi Cantt constituency.
"We will win this constituency and also Delhi and bring a government that works for good governance under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," said Tanwar.
BJP leader Bansuri Swaraj told ANI that she has come to support her "brother" Bhuvan Tanwar.
"I congratulate Bhuvan Tanwar (BJP candidate from Delhi Cantt) for filing his nomination. He will take forward sankalp of Viksit Bharat forward."
"February 5 is the day of Delhi's freedom. Freedom from polluted water, air, broken roads and fake promises. It is the day of freedom from AAPda," she said.
Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur also attacked the AAP government and said "roads, the air, water, and Yamunaji in Delhi are not clean".
"This time everything would be cleared and AAP will be wiped out," he said.
BJP president JP Nadda launched the party's Delhi Assembly election manifesto on Friday.
The party has promised to give Rs 2,500 to every eligible woman in Delhi every month under Mahila Samridhi Yojana.
The party has also promised to continue all welfare schemes which are currently implemented in the national capital. (ANI)
