"BJP will win maximum seats in MP," says Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar

"As much as I have been visiting in Madhya Pradesh and Gwalior Chambal division, I can say that the Bharatiya Janata Party is getting maximum seats in the state. There was a mistake last time in the Gwalior Chambal region, although before that our record was very good. But this time we will not let that mistake happen and this time the BJP will win the maximum seats," Tomar said.

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 13 (ANI): Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly polls, Narendra Singh Tomar has said that the party will win maximum seats in the state in the polls.
Tomar made the remark while speaking to the media persons in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district on Monday.
"I have been touring in Madhya Pradesh and Gwalior Chambal division, I can say that the Bharatiya Janata Party is getting maximum seats in the state. There was a mistake last time in the Gwalior Chambal region, although before that our record was very good. But this time we will not let that mistake happen and this time the BJP will win the maximum seats," Tomar said.
Meanwhile, when asked about the BJP's election manifesto, the BJP leader said that the manifesto was the bright future of Madhya Pradesh.
Besides, responding to a question about two former MLAs Madan Kushwaha and Brijendra Tiwari who joined the Congress party recently, Tomar said, "Bharatiya Janata Party is the largest political party in the world. Though if a person wants to stay in a party, he should stay with full devotion, but sometimes there is an ambition to get a ticket, there are more than one contenders but only one ticket can get a ticket, therefore such a situation sometimes arises."
Apart from this, when asked about Rahul Gandhi's roadshow in the state capital Bhopal, Tomar has said that he is a leader of a party and he is coming to campaign for his party. In democracy everyone has the right to campaign.
Notably, Rahul Gandhi is in Madhya Pradesh on Monday in view of the state assembly polls scheduled to be held this week and is also scheduled to hold a roadshow in Bhopal on Monday evening.
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is in fray for upcoming assembly polls from Dimani assembly seat in Morena district.
Meanwhile MP CM Shivraj Chouhan also attacked the Congress alleging that they were just spreading lies in the name of poll promises.
"Congress spreads confusion and they are dishonest. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi lie every day and they abuse me every day. I am the one who comes in their dreams, that Mama (referring to himself) did this and Mama did that. Don't get fooled by them because they are the ones who stopped the schemes which we started for the benefit of the public," the CM said.
Earlier Congress' state Chief Kamal Nath in his campaign rally took aim at the BJP for overthrowing his government in the state in 2018.
"Soon after I became the CM, a deal was struck. Being a CM, even I could have made a deal. MLAs used to come to me and say that they were being offered so many crores of rupees. But I said that I will not strike a deal with anyone. Kursi jaati hai toh jaaye" Kamal Nath said while addressing a rally in Narmadapuram.
The state is set to undergo polls on November 17 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3. Voters will choose legislators from 230 Assembly constituencies. (ANI)
