New Delhi [India], September 9 (ANI): Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party Jharkhand in-charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said that the BJP will carry out six Parivartan Yatras in Jharkhand and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jamshedpur on September 15.
"...We will take out six Parivartan Yatras in Jharkhand. Our local prominent leaders as well as senior leaders will also participate. The Prime Minister will visit Jamshedpur, Jharkhand on 15th (September). Along with the gift of Vande Bharat Train, the Prime Minister will deposit the first installment of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the accounts of 1,13,195 poor people of Jharkhand," Chouhan told reporters.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan arrived in Ranchi on Sunday.
The Minister said, "Our target is to free Jharkhand from the misrule of JMM. As elections in the state are getting closer, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has promised 5 lakh jobs. In the last few days during the Excise constable recruitment drive, youths were forced to run for 10 km without proper arrangements. This kind of 10 km run is not conducted anywhere. Just for vote bank politics and to deceive the youth, this conspiracy was fabricated."
He said that as a result of this conspiracy, 12 youths passed away during the physical tests for the recruitment of excise constables.
"12 youths passed away. This is not an incident, this is murder. This has been done for vote bank politics and the youth of Jharkhand will never forgive the JMM government," he added.
Jharkhand is set to witness an election to the 81-member legislative assembly later this year as the current government's tenure ends in 2024. The Election Commission of India (ECI) is yet to announce the dates. (ANI)
