Bhiwani (Haryana) [India], September 26 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Thursday that the Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government in Haryana and the double-engine government will together create new records of development.
CM Yadav was campaigning for a BJP candidate from the Nandgaon seat in Bhiwani district.
He said, "According to the response I am getting, the BJP will form the government in Haryana with all the seats in Bhiwani district. Haryana and Delhi, that is, the double-engine government, will together create new records of development."
Earlier on Wednesday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, during the election campaign, exuded confidence in BJP's victory for the third consecutive, saying that people are going to vote in favour of the double-engine government.
"...The people of Haryana have decided that the BJP will form government for the third time. On October 5, people will vote for the double-engine government... Bhupinder Singh Hooda has been the CM for 10 years and he has only betrayed farmers... The lands of the farmers were grabbed and handed over to the 'Daamad'(son-in-law)...," said Nayab Singh Saini.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi on Thursday campaigned in Assandh, Karnal for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. Taking on the centre and state governments the Lok Sabha LoP claimed that the Haryana government has destroyed the employment system in the state.
"Narendra Modi and the Haryana government have destroyed the employment system. Those children have gone abroad and will not return for ten years, they have gotten in an accident there and can't walk anymore. What does Modi do? He gave away the farmland you have to Adani. The loans of Haryana farmers will not be waived off but he waived off the loans of capitalists," Rahul Gandhi said.
Haryana will go to the polls on October 5 and the results for both Haryana and JK will be declared on October 8. (ANI)
