BJP taunts Tej Pratap, says 'bade miyan toh bade miyan, chote miyan subhanallah'
Patna (Bihar) [India], Sept 14 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Wednesday took a jibe at RJD boss Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav after Shahabuddin's alleged sharp shooter Md. Kaif was spotted with the Health Minister, saying 'bade miyan toh bade miyan, chote miyan subhanallah'. The former deputy chief minister asked as to why the sharp shooter has not been arrested yet. "And today we see his photo with Tej Pratap Yadav. 'Bade miyan' (Lalu ji) is roaming with Shahabuddin and 'chhote miyan' (Tej Pratap) is roaming with Mohammad Kaif. 'Bade miyan toh bade miyan, chote miyan subhanallah'," he told ANI. Continuing his tirade against the grand alliance government in Bihar, Modi said the entire state is living under fear. "And today so many people have gathered here. And Shahabuddin is accused in murder case. And the shooter was standing beside him," he added. The BJP leader also took potshots at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and asked as to why the Crime Control Act (CCA) was not slapped against Shahabuddin. "Why the government didn't approach the Supreme Court to stop his bail? Shahabuddin should be put behind the bars and the government should move the Supreme Court for the cancellation of his bail. Nitish ji and Lalu ji must answer," he added. A day after pictures of Shahabuddin's alleged sharp shooter Md. Kaif went viral where he is seen standing beside Siwan's strongman, another picture has created furore in the political circle of Bihar. Md. Kaif has been spotted this time with Tej Pratap Yadav. Tej Pratap, however, downplayed the controversy, saying, "Thousands of people come and meet me. They also click pictures with me. How can I know who is who or what is on the mind of that person?"
