BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad criticises Rahul Gandhi for "forgotten decency"

Prasad said, "Their leader, Rahul Gandhi, has forgotten decency. There is a frustration that a leader born in a poor, backwards family has become the leader of the world today." Prasad claimed that the Congress party is "frustrated" by the fact that Prime Minister Modi "has outnumbered the days of PM Indira Gandhi as the PM."

Patna (Bihar) [India], July 26 (ANI): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Member of Parliament Ravi Shankar Prasad on Saturday criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of abandoning political decorum and showing frustration at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rise from humble beginnings to global leadership.
Prasad said, "Their leader, Rahul Gandhi, has forgotten decency. There is a frustration that a leader born in a poor, backwards family has become the leader of the world today."
Prasad claimed that the Congress party is "frustrated" by the fact that Prime Minister Modi "has outnumbered the days of PM Indira Gandhi as the PM."
He further asserted that Congress is uncomfortable with India's increasing global influence.
"They have a problem that a major trade deal was signed in London, which will benefit India and Indians... Whatever you want to say to the Prime Minister, say it. You should be ashamed that, being the national president of a party, you are using such words for the Prime Minister of India," Prasad said.
Meanwhile, Kerala Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Rajeev Chandrashekhar on Saturday criticised Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, accusing them of inconsistency and corruption. Chandrashekhar claimed Gandhi frequently changes his stance on issues, lacking strong views or beliefs.
Chandrashekhar alleged that Gandhi raises new issues when previous ones fail to gain traction, portraying him as an inconsistent politician. The BJP leader accuses the Congress party of unleashing unprecedented corruption in states where they are in power, contrary to Gandhi's public rhetoric.
"Rahul Gandhi completely recycles all of his issues every few days. When one thing fails he raises another issue and it goes on... He is not a politician with any strong views or beliefs. Congress has governments in three states (Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka) and nowhere is he implementing what he talks about," Chandrashekhar told ANI. (ANI)
