BJP mounts attack on Mayawati after Naseemuddin spills beans
New Delhi [India] May 11 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has mounted attack on Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) chief Mayawati after expelled party leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui on Thursday levelled serious allegations against her. Cabinet Minister in Uttar Pradesh Government Swami Prasad Maurya said after no other proof was required to ascertain the real face of Mayawati after Naseemuddin exposed her. "When the person who was collection agent of Mayawati is exposing Maywati with the proof then it is the biggest proof that for the lust of money how Mayawati destroyed the BSP, killed the thoughts of kanshiram, sold Baba Sahab Ambedkar's ideology and self-respect of Dalits and backward classes," said Maurya. He said Siddiqui deserves kudos as he has exposed Mayawati with proofs. Maurya had resigned from the BSP and joined the BJP. Earlier in the day, Siddiqui alleged that Mayawati had demanded Rs. 50 crore from him for the party and when he failed to do so, he and his son were expelled on false charges. He also alleged that Mayawati called Muslims 'traitors' after debacle in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh also seconded Naseemuddin's charge of Mayawati calling Muslims 'traitors' and accused Mayawati of being an opportunist. He said Mayawati is opportunist and believes on phrase 'When in Rome, do as the Romans do'. "She had called Muslims extremists when she campaigned for the BJP in Gujarat. She only wants power as she is happy when in power and unhappy when out of power," alleged Amar Singh. He said when Mayawati was out of power she used to curse Brahmins but as soon as she got the power she started praising them. (ANI)
