New Delhi [India], April 26 (ANI): Congress leader Udit Raj alleged that the BJP is ruled by only two people and they were spreading false narratives about the Congress manifesto.
Udit Raj asked how talking about jobs, price rises and Dalits were connected to the Muslim League.
Raj said, "It is a good sign to have differences in democracy. BJP is ruled by only 2 people. They don't allow conflicts and differences in the BJP, which is a must in democracy. They are talking the language of dictatorship. One nation, one election, one leader. This is not democracy but dictatorship. As TMC and Congress are two different parties differences are bound to exist. PM Modi wants to suppress the voices of others."
He further said that the BJP manifesto had nothing good so they were tense and diverting attention by talking rubbish about the Congress manifesto.
"There is a big change in the nation after the manifesto release of Congress. Congress has promised 30 lakh jobs. In the BJP manifesto there is no mention of jobs. Women of poor households will get Rs 1 lakh per month. Educated unemployed youth will get Rs 1 lakh in a month. Farmers' loans will be waived. They will get MSP. Inflation will be reduced. Congress will conduct a caste census. Nothing good is included in the manifesto of the BJP. That's why they are tense. How is talking about youth and Dalits related to the Muslim League? BJP is unable to figure out how to attack the INDIA bloc so they are spreading false narrative about the Congress' manifesto," he added.
He further said that the BJP only polarises the voters and they never talk about price rises. "BJP never talks about price rise or jobs. The cost of cylinders has gone up from Rs 400 to Rs 1200 but they don't talk about it," he added.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Friday that after the Congress manifesto was released, people's inclination towards the Bharatiya Janata Party has increased further because Congress has repeated its old habit of appeasement in its manifesto.
Shah told ANI that Congress' manifesto speaks of taking the personal law forward, which is about dividing the country.
"First of all, I would like to appeal to the voters to elect a party that stands on its words--for a secure and prosperous country and the welfare of the poor. After the Congress manifesto was released, people's inclination towards the BJP further increased because, in its manifesto, Congress has repeated its old habit of appeasement. The Congress manifesto speaks of taking personal law forward. I would like to ask Rahul Gandhi, Will this country now work as per Sharia?" he said. (ANI)
