BJP included laptop in its manifesto which it earlier ridiculed as toy: Akhilesh
Balrampur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Feb. 23 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday took a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying that the party which first dubbed laptop as a 'rattle' has now included it in its manifesto. "Earlier, the BJP used to call laptop baby rattle (toy), but now it has included the same in its manifesto. Why so?" said Akhilesh while addressing a rally here. Asserting that the Samajwadi Party will get the favourable mandate in the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Akhilesh said the 'cycle' will surpass everybody, adding that nobody will be able to catch it. "Nobody is unable to catch cycle (Samajwadi Party). Cycle is ahead. It is continuously moving forward at a fast pace," he said. Expressing complete confidence in the SP-Congress alliance, Akhilesh yesterday said the party will 'pedal ahead' with full speed now that it had the support of the grand old party. "When Samajwadi Party shows enthusiasm, it can ride the bicycle with only one hand. With Congress' support we will increase the speed even further," he said while addressing a rally in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich. "We did not say 'acche din aayenge', we perform our duty and it is reflected in our work," Akhilesh said.(ANI)
