Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) Mar 10 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party government has "demolished truth", said former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav here on Sunday.
“The Bharatiya Janata Party government has demolished truth. Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of such a work, of which even the tender has not been passed. The Chief Minister fooled the Prime Minister,” he told ANI.
Akhilesh, who took a ride in the newly inaugurated section of the Lucknow Metro, further said that the work which was initiated by the Samajwadi Party government has emerged as the most successful projects for the welfare of the people as it is a safer and convenient means of public transport in the capital city.
Taking a jibe at the Yogi Adityanath government, Yadav said, “This government is stuck in investigations and demolition. They only think how to break the Urdu Darwaza. On one side they are trying to demolish it and on the other side they are taking support of Urdu to create their election slogans. If the Chief Minister has guts then he should stop the slogans from Delhi.”
During his metro ride, the former state Chief Minister was also accompanied by his wife and Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav and party leader Azam Khan.  (ANI)
