Nizamabad (Telangana) [India], November 23 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda on Thursday slammed the opposition on indulging in 'Dynastic Politics' and said that the BJP is the only party fighting "parivarvaad" across the country.
Addressing a rally in Nizamabad, Telangana, JP Nadda said, "When I talk about parivarvaad, it is not just a question of KCR. The BJP does the work of fighting all the dynastic parties in the country."
"We are fighting Farooq Abdullah and his son and Mehbooba Mufti in Jammu and Kashmir. Prakash Singh Badal and now Sukhbir Singh Badal in Punjab. Chautala Brothers in Haryana. In Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party, whose leaders were Mulayam Singh and later Akhilesh and Dimple. We are fighting Lalu's family in Bihar, Mamata and her nephew in Bengal, Stalin's family in Tamil Nadu, and KCR, KTR and Kavitha here in Telangana," JP Nadda added.
He also promised to end the reservation given to Muslims in Telangana and will distribute it among the SC, ST and other Backward classes.
"When I talk about appeasement politics, I mean giving reservations to a particular religion in an unconstitutional manner. Making Urdu the second state language. The BRS has to be defeated and the BJP has to win here. We will give strength to the poor. We will end the unconstitutional reservation given to a particular religion and distribute it among SC, ST and other backward classes in Telangana," JP Nadda added.
He further said that CM K Chandrashekar Rao is doing appeasement politics in Telangana while PM Modi is doing politics of satisfaction."
"The money that PM Modi sends here, the corrupt government of KCR hasn't implemented it on the ground. We have to change this government and elect the BJP here. The highest inflation today is in Telangana. KCR is doing appeasement politics here. PM Modi is doing politics of satisfaction," the BJP National President said.
He emphasized that 13.5 cr people have come above the poverty line because of PM Modi's schemes.
"If anyone has given strength to Scheduled Castes, Dalits, Backward Classes, Poor, OBCs, it is Modi ji only. Under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Modi ji provided 5 kg wheat, 5 kg rice and 1 kg pulses to 80 crore people. 13.5 cr people have come above the poverty line. This is a changing India," Nadda said.
The state is set to witness a triangular contest between the ruling Bharat Rasthtra Samithi, Congress and BJP as the state goes to polls on November 30.
In the previous Assembly election in 2018, the BRS, previously known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), won 88 of the 119 seats, grabbing 47.4 per cent of the total vote share.
The Congress came in a distant second with just 19 seats. (ANI)
