BJP, Congress trade barbs over Khurshid's 'Anari ki foreign policy' statement
Lucknow, Aug 18 (ANI): Criticising Congress Party leader Salman Khurshid for calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policy on Balochistan as 'Anari ki foreign policy' (novice foreign policy), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called Khurshid 'rabble-rouser' of the grand old party. "Salman Khurshid is Congress Party's rabble-rouser. Khurshid and his wife are infamous for getting implicated in handicap instruments scam. Everybody witnessed when Khurshid spoke against BJP-led governmentin Pakistan . His statements against the Prime Minister are condemnable," BJP leader I.P. Singh told ANI. Meanwhile, Congress leader Dogender Pathak has supported Khurshid's statement, saying that Prime Minister Modi's statement on Balochistan is an open invitation to Pakistan to criticise India. He said the Prime Minister's statement will allow Islamabad to raise this issue internationally, accusing India of meddling in its internal affairs. "By speaking about Balochistan we are allowing Pakistan to accuse India of interfering in its internal affairs. Pakistan will try to defame our country in the international forum, stating that we are interfering in their internal affairs. What Prime Minister Modi said in his speech at the Red Fort should have been avoided," he said Khurshid, on Wednesday, stoked another controversy by calling Prime Minister Modi's policy on Balochistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir "Anari ki Foreign Policy" (novice foreign policy).
