New Delhi [India], September 29 (ANI): According to sources, the alliance between the BJP, AJSU and JDU has been confirmed in Jharkhand. The formal announcement of the alliance will be made after Pitru Paksha. It has been decided that the BJP will contest on 68 seats, AJSU on 11 and JDU on two seats. A meeting of Jharkhand BJP leaders was held at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah till late last night, in which the alliance and seats were decided. Jharkhand BJP election co-incharge Himanta Biswa Sarma, AJSU leader Sudesh Mahato and BJP leader Nishikant Dubey were also present in the meeting.
Speaking with ANI, BJP Jharkhand incharge Laxmikant Bajpai said, "If Hemant Soren is a victim of misconception, then the BJP and NDA have no problem with this. A government is going to be formed in Jharkhand under the leadership of the BJP and NDA. There is no doubt about this. The public has made up its mind to bring about a change in Jharkhand and after the change, the NDA government will be formed, that is, a joint government of the AJSU Party, Janata Dal and BJP will be formed in Jharkhand."
Talking about the alliance, Laxmikant Bajpai said that we had formed an alliance in the Lok Sabha as well and this is our old alliance. Whatever decision the national leadership has taken regarding the alliance, we will work to implement it.
"There are very big issues in Jharkhand. Infiltration is torturing tribal daughters and Hemant Soren's government is sitting silently in greed for votes. Be it infiltration or conversion or not letting the people of Jharkhand get the benefits of the central schemes, Hemant Soren's government is doing this. These are all the issues on which we will contest the elections," he said.
"We had talked about ending terrorism in the country and terrorism is on the verge of ending in the country. In this way, after the Bharatiya Janata Party government comes to power in Jharkhand, not a single infiltration will come to Jharkhand from the next day and the infiltration who have come will be identified and sent across the border and there is no doubt in this too," he added.
Taking a dig at Hemant Soren, Laxmikant Bajpai said that geographical changes are taking place in Jharkhand for which Hemant Soren and his government are completely responsible. Adding to this, he said, "However, we are making strategies to win the elections, although strategies are meant for doing, not for telling."
"After coming to power, first of all, we will start removing the difficulties of the common man in Jharkhand and will work to identify the anti-India forces in Jharkhand state and throw them out of India," he said.
Talking about the role of Champai Soren in the assembly elections, Laxmikant Vajpayee said that Champai Soren has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party after being misbehaved by Hemant Soren in Jharkhand. "The BJP family has welcomed him and the BJP will contest the elections with him," he added.
Talking about the chief minister's face in the Jharkhand assembly elections, Laxmikant Vajpayee said that this will be decided by the national leadership and after the elections it will be decided who will become the chief minister. We are going to form a government with a full majority in Jharkhand.
"The dates of the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand are likely to be announced next week. Jharkhand and Maharashtra assembly elections are to be held in November after Diwali," he concluded. (ANI)
