Patna (Bihar) [India], July 19 (ANI): Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Friday attended the Textile Investors' Meet in Bihar and expressed his gratitude to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Minister Nitish Mishra for organising this event.
Addressing media, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, "I want to thank the Bihar government, CM Nitish Kumar, and Minister Nitish Mishra for organising this industrial meeting. The facilities they have provided have built trust and faith among industrialists. When a garment industry is set up, it provides employment in the region. After investing Rs 1 crore, around 50-70 people get employed. It's Bihar's fate that, both on the central and state level, there is a government of NDA."
Before attending the Textile Investors' Meet in Bihar, speaking with ANI, Giriraj Singh said, "After COVID, the workers of Bihar have created history, as, now, they are exporting textiles from Betiya. After that, the Bihar government made a big industrial hub in Muzaffarpur, where 10,000 people are working. A big bag industry was also set up there. After all these things, the ministry thought to call an 'investors meeting'. The schemes here will support investors. I would appeal to all the exporters to use green energy. PM Modi has the aim of making our country carbon neutral by 2030. Our industry will also contribute to this aim."
After meeting, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said, "I went there with a demand for an airport in Begusarai. He also took the matter of law and order into his cognizance. Those who have established 'Jungle Raj' in Bihar are the same people complaining about it now. There is an old saying, "Chor Chori Ke Khilaf Bol Raha Hai," the same thing happening here."
Earlier in the day, he also informed about the schedule of the Investors' Meet through his social media handle on X and said that this event is a golden opportunity for new investors to get information about the excellent business potential of the state and the prospects of the textile industry.
Taking it to a social media post on X, he wrote, "Bihar Business Connect 2024 - Textile Investor Meet: New colors, new clothes, new possibilities, Bihar has unlimited opportunities and possibilities for the textile sector. This event is a golden opportunity for new investors to get information about the excellent business potential of the state and the prospects of the textile industry. Let us together make Bihar a major manufacturing and export hub of the textile industry, thereby increasing new employment opportunities and moving our state towards strength and prosperity. I am confident that Bihar will fulfill all its resolutions very fast."

Bihar Business Connect 2024, also known as the Textile Investors' Meet in Bihar, was conducted in Patna, Bihar, on July 19 at around 12.30 pm.
The event commenced with welcoming dignitaries and a screening of a film on Bihar's textile Sector.
It was followed by a welcome address by Sandeep Poundrik, Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Industries in the Bihar Government, and the addresses of Rachna Shah, Secretary of Ministry of Textile of India, Brijesh Mehrotra, Chief Secretary of Bihar, Nitish Mishra, Minister of Industries of Bihar and Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha.
