Bihar: MoS Nityanand Rai sanctions Rs 25 lakh to build PICU in Samastipur hospital

West Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh on Thursday slammed the Trinamool Congress (TMC) over plans to move an impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar in the Parliament.

In an interesting turn of events, a woman who was declared 'brain-dead' at a hospital in Bareilly, came back to life after a car she was travelling in struck a pothole, as her husband claimed on Wednesday.

Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Rajiv Rai on Wednesday expressed support for the impeachment motion moved by the Trinamool Congregainst Css ahief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, alleging irregularities related to voters' lists.

"The Election Commission is a constitutional body. Conducting the SIR process is their right. What do these people want? Do they want to win by using the fake votes of Bangladeshis, Rohingyas, infiltrators, the deceased, and those with double entries? This cannot happen. The people of Bengal have the right to the resources of Bengal, not the infiltrators and Bangladeshis," he said.

Divisional Forest Officer Avinash Pandey, while speaking to ANI, said, "We found a 3-4 days-old (leopard) cub in the Chhajlet area. We rescued it and tried to reunite it with its mother. We kept it for 36 hours, but couldn't find its mother. So, we sent it to the deer park for care..."
