"Big motivation for both of us," says wife of Bandi Sanjay Kumar ahead of his joining new NDA govt

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 9 (ANI): Amid reports that former Bharatiya Janata Party state president from Telangana, Bandi Sanjay Kumar might find a place in the Union Council of Ministers his family was elated and thanked the party leadership for giving him the opportunity.
"I would like to thank everyone for giving such an opportunity to Sanjay, especially PM Modi and all the party workers. It is a great honour for us. We feel that we are blessed. Please be with us and support us," Aparna, Kumar's wife said speaking to ANI on Sunday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ready to take oath as the Prime Minister for the third time.
Aparna said, "I am with him. Whatever he does, he does it for a good cause. I think that is a big motivation for both of us. I think that I should be with him and support him."
Sanjay's mother, Shakunthala and other family members also expressed happiness over his electoral performance.

Meanwhile, celebrations broke out at BJP MP-elect Bandi Sanjay Kumar's residence in Karimnagar as Kumar attended the tea meeting at PM-designate Narendra Modi's residence on Sunday.

BJP's Bandi Sanjay Kumar won from Telangana's Karimnagar defeating Congress' Velchala Rajender Rao with a margin of 225209 seats.
The firebrand BJP leader from Telangana was elected as an MP from Karimnagar in 2019 as well defeating Bharat Rashtra Samithi (then Telangana Rashtra Samithi) candidate Boianapalli Vinod Kumar.
Kumar is widely credited for expanding the footprint of the BJP in Telangana during his tenure as the state party chief. (ANI)
