At Meerut rally, Yogi Adityanath praises PM Modi for Mission Shakti

Meerut [India], Mar 28 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the successful test of India's first Anti-Satellite (A-SAT) missile. While speaking at a rally here he said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi India has become a superpower in space technology with the success of Mission Shakti.

Meerut [India], Mar 28 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the successful test of India's first Anti-Satellite (A-SAT) missile. While speaking at a rally here he said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi India has become a superpower in space technology with the success of Mission Shakti.
"India has become the world's sixth largest economy and under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India will be among the top three economies of the world," Adityanath added.
Speaking at a political rally in Meerut, the UP chief minister tried to underline the good work done by the NDA government in Centre and the state as he sought vote for the BJP candidate Rajendra Aggarwal. The rally was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
BJP's Rajendra Aggarwal is pitted against BSP's Haji Mohammad Yakub and Congress' Harendra Aggarwal from Meerut.
Adityanath also praised Prime Minister for surgical strikes and air strikes against terrorist camps in Pakistan. He praised Prime Minister for avenging Pulwama terror attack through air strikes on Pakistan's Balakot.
"Every section of society understands that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership India will lead towards the path of development and the country will become a superpower...For the first time in India, the benefits of schemes reach all sections of society, irrespective of caste, region and language. And the poor have benefited from schemes like housing, sanitation, and electricity," he said.
Attacking political rivals Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress, the UP Chief Minister said that under their dispensation no benefits were given to the poor and farmers.
Speaking about Western Uttar Pradesh, he said: "Under BJP government both urban and rural areas get electricity. Under BJP the issue of security of women and children is taken care of", he added.
He also listed schemes like Rs 5 Lakh health insurance benefits under Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna in which farmers will get Rs 6000 per year.
Adityanath further said that in UP faith of people is respected and cited the example of successful implementation 'Kaanvad Yatra' in Western UP and Kumbh in Prayagraj.
He also talked about BJP's success in stopping illegal slaughterhouses and said, "in Uttar Pradesh either the criminals are in jail or they are dead." (ANI)
