Chaibasa (Jharkhand) [India], November 13 (ANI): On the ongoing polling in the first phase of Jharkhand elections, former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Madhu Koda said on Wednesday that the people were rejecting the fake govermment of JMM-Congress.
Speaking to ANI, Koda said "As per the trends, the people are completely rejecting the fake government of JMM-Congress this time. We can say that the BJP-NDA candidates will gain a lead in the first phase of polling. The Hemant Soren government has failed to provide people employment and have failed in their promises. Farmers are also troubled because they are not given suitable prices for their produce. The mines have also been lying closed. The people have seen everything, and considering that they are casting their votes. I am sure BJP NDA is going to form in the state this time."
Meanwhile, Geeta Koda, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Jagannathpur said that people in rural areas too were expressing their faith towards BJP.

"We have cast our votes. Even in rural areas this time, the people have expressed their faiths towards BJP. The public will make the corrupt government of the JMM-Congress-RJD accountable. They have done nothing in the last five years. Mines have also been closed. After the formation of the new government, our priority will be to open the mines present here which have been closed and generate employment for the people," Koda said.
The BJP-led NDA is aiming to unseat the JMM-led coalition, with key candidates such as CM Hemant Soren, former CM Champai Soren, JMM leader Mahua Maji and Congress leader Ajoy Kumar in the fray.
