Nellore (Andhra Pradesh) [India], May 13 (ANI): Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) MP and candidate Vijaysai Reddy cast his vote for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore on Monday.
In a post on X, Vijaysai Reddy said, "Today is the festival of the country's democracy. I exercised my right to vote at the Kondayapalem polling station under the Nellore Rural Assembly Constituency. Also, I request you all to vote and fulfil your responsibility."

After casting his vote here, Vijaysai Reddy expressed concern over the law and order situation at the polling station in Nellore.
Expressing concern over the prevailing law and order situation at a polling booth, the YSRCP candidate from Nellore said, "It is the responsibility of the police force to maintain queues and that there is no chaotic situation in the polling station."
"Police authorities have miserably failed where I have come to exercise my vote and they are trying to regulate and are asking for time to regulate queues and restore law and order. All voters should exercise their voting rights and elect the appropriate government," said Reddy.
From the Nellore parliamentary constituency, Koppula Raju (Congress), Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy (TDP), and V Vijaysai Reddy (YSRCP) are standing against each other.
YSRCP's Adala Prabhakara Reddy won from here in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy cast his vote and said that vote for that governance would lead to a "brighter future."
He cast his vote at Kadapa Constituency's Jayamahal Anganawadi Polling Booth No. 138.
Congress's YS Sharmila, TDP's Chadipiralla Bhupesh Subbarami Reddy and YSRCP's YS Avinash Reddy are contesting elections from this seat. YSRCP's YS Avinash Reddy is the sitting MP from Kadapa.
Sitting MP YS Avinash Reddy of the YSR Congress Party is pitted against state Congress chief YS Sharmila. Sharmila is the daughter of former Andhra CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy and sister of YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. Avinash Reddy is the cousin of Sharmila and Jagan.
Earlier, former Andhra Pradesh CM and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu also cast his vote at a polling booth in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur.
After casting his vote, N Chandrababu Naidu said, "It is our responsibility to cast our vote and demand a bright future. 100 per cent (TDP will come to power in the state)"
"I have never seen such a crowd during my political career. People have come from America, Bengaluru, Chennai to cast their votes... People want to protect democracy and their future..." he added further.
Voting for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 96 Parliamentary Constituencies across nine states and one Union Territory began on Monday.
Polling for all 175 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh and 28 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Odisha also started simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls.
Of the 96 Lok Sabha seats, 25 are from Andhra Pradesh, 17 from Telangana, 13 from Uttar Pradesh, 11 from Maharashtra, eight each from Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, five from Bihar, four each from Jharkhand and Odisha, and one from Jammu and Kashmir.
