Andhra Pradesh: Two killed in Vizianagaram factory blast

Goa Governor, Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, along with his family, visited the sacred shrine of Goddess Pyditalli Ammavaru in Vizianagaram on Monday. They offered silk clothes to the deity and performed special prayers.

The Chief Minister also directed officials to provide a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the kin of four individuals who lost their lives due to heavy rains and accidents.

The agency claimed to have seized several digital devices, documents, cash and incriminating materials during the massive searches conducted in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, and Delhi. NIA carried out the search operations in close coordination with Andhra Pradesh Police.

Andhra Pradesh police have arrested two individuals from Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district who were trying to smuggle ganja (cannabis) from Odisha to Kerala. The accused were caught transporting ganja in a car when the L. Kota police intercepted them and seized 71 packets of ganja from them, weighing approximately 145 kgs.
