Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], September 11 (ANI): Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, advisor to the Andhra Pradesh Government has slammed the TDP party on the protests over Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest and said that they are creating ruckus and doing drama.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy told ANI, “TDP leaders are motivated by Chandrababu Naidu who is the main accused. They are creating a ruckus and doing drama. In the investigation, it has been revealed that he is the main conspirator. All the fingers of suspicion are pointing towards Chandrababu Naidu then only the agency has taken him into custody. what TDP is doing now is to divert the attention of people from the real issue that there has been a scam and they are trying to blame CM Jagan Mohan Reddy."
Meanwhile, TDP workers held a protest on Monday in Chittoor against the arrest and judicial custody of former Andhra Pradesh CM and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
The TDP activists pelted stones on a bus in Chittoor district as the Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus came out of the depot. Protestors also set tires ablaze on the road.
Expressing solidarity with TDP leader Nara Chandrababu, who was arrested and sent to custody in the alleged skill development case, the TDP has called for a bandh across the state. The AP police have enforced Section 144 across the state.
Naidu was arrested by a team of CID sleuths in the early hours of Saturday from Nandyal and he was sent to judicial remand for 14 days by a court in Vijayawada on Sunday.
Allegation against Chandrababu Naidu is that when he was Chief Minister of the state from 2014 to 2019, he along with 36 others swindled about 371 crore belonging to the Andra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation. (ANI)
