New Delhi [India], December 8 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gaurav Bhatia on Friday took a swipe at the Congress over the recovery of Rs 100 crores in cash from the residence of the party's MP in Jharkhand.
Attacking the Gandhi family, Bhatia said, "All of the money goes to the Gandhi family".
"IT raids were conducted at 10 locations in Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal, which lasted for three days. Disconcerting facts have come up. The IT dept has seized more than Rs 100 crores in cash from the residence of a Congress MP in Jharkhand. The Congress leaders are filling up their pockets with these black earnings made out of corruption", the BJP leader told the media in the national capital.
Gaurav Bhatia further said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written on 'X' that whatever they have looted from the public, they will have to return every penny. This is Modiji's guarantee. And this is a ray of hope for a common man".

"The agencies are recovering the black earnings made by the Congress and 'Ghamandiya'. Those who are involved in corruption will have to be behind bars. They will have to return all the money which they looted. The Congress, AAP, and TMC, all are a synonym for corruption. Why Sonia Gandhi, Kharge and Rahul Gandhi are tight-lipped on this? Does Rahul Gandhi have the courage to speak against this?" he added.
Earlier today, the Income Tax (IT) department recovered Rs 100 crores of cash from the residence of Congress MP, Dheeraj Sahu in Jharkhand, followed by the raids which were conducted at his residence by the central agency.
Meanwhile, PM Modi took to 'X' and fired fresh salvos at the Congress party stating that whatever they have "looted" from the public, they will have to return every penny of it.
"The countrymen should look at the pile of these notes and then listen to the honest 'speeches' of their leaders... Whatever has been looted from the public, every penny will have to be returned, this is Modi's guarantee", he said in a post on 'X'. (ANI)
