Aim of 'Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit' to create Viksit Rajasthan: Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa ahead of CM Bhajan Lal's roadshow

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], August 30 (ANI): As Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma is set to organise a roadshow in Mumbai on Friday to raise awareness of the "Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit 2024" scheduled to be held in December, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa said that the summit is aimed to create Viksit Rajasthan.
Premchand Bairwa said, "Our Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma since he became the CM of Rajasthan is concerned regarding Viksit Bharat as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and on the lines of it he visualizes creating Viksit Rajasthan. He is working on all fronts whether it is Industries, Electricity, water, and the way in which he has been working since last eight months the message is spreading that Viksit Rajasthan would become a reality."
Rajasthan Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said that CM Bhajan Lal Sharma is conducting a roadshow in Mumbai to attract potential industrialists to invest in the state.
He said, "The development of any country or state is dependent on the Industrial development. Rajasthan has rich resources of minerals. In order to attract big entrepreneurs to Rajasthan, CM Bhajan Lal is organising a summit "Rising Rajasthan" in December. For that, all the industrialists in India and abroad are being invited and regarding this, our CM is conducting a roadshow in Mumbai today."
He further said that the objective of the roadshow is to raise awareness on the possibilities of the industries that can be set in Rajasthan.
"Based on these possibilities, the development of Rajasthan would be aimed at. CM will also visit abroad and the aim is to create a developed Rajasthan during Amrit Kaal. We are also putting our effort to achieve the target," the Rajasthan Law Minister said.
In the run up to the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 planned on December 9, 10 and 11 this year, Government of Rajasthan is organizing the first domestic roadshow in Mumbai on Friday. Led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma the event will feature the signing of investment MoUs worth several lakh crores of rupees, launch of the "Rising Rajasthan' website, one-on-one discussions of Rajasthan CM with prominent Industry leaders among others.
Prominent Industry leaders who have invested in Rajasthan will share their experiences of investing in the state. A short film showcasing the recent spurt of investment in the state will also be displayed before the August attendees.
Apart from CM Sharma and Industry Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore, many top officials of the Rajasthan Government will also be present at the Mumbai Road Show.
Organized in association with Summit Industry Partner, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the first domestic roadshow at India's commercial capital, Mumbai, will set the tempo for subsequent domestic and international roadshows that are going to be organised at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom and Germany.
