After question hour, Kerala assembly congratulate Team India for winning World Cup

After the question hour was over in the Kerala Assembly on Monday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Assembly Speaker AN Shamseer and opposition leaders extended greetings to Team India for winning the World Cup in West Indies.

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) [India], July 1 (ANI): After the question hour concluded in the Kerala Assembly on Monday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Assembly Speaker AN Shamseer, and opposition leaders extended their greetings to Team India for winning the World Cup in the West Indies.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan congratulated the Indian team on winning the T20 World Cup. He said, "This assembly also joins in the victory that brings immense joy and excitement to the country. India won the World Cup in cricket after many long years, making this victory very important. The team showcased a great performance and progressed without losing any game. We have talented players in each department. This victory is a result of their hard work and confidence. South Africa put up a strong fight in the finals, but the unity and fighting spirit of Team India led to this victory."
He further acknowledged the contributions of senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, along with the youngsters in the team, in achieving this well-deserved victory. He added, "The bowling unit under Jasprit Bumrah also showcased a brilliant performance. Though Malayali player Sanju Samson didn't get the opportunity to play, his presence in the team is a proud moment for us. This assembly wishes Team India more success in the future. Team India's victory is inspirational for all of us and a lesson for the coming generation. If you fight strongly, any victory is possible. Congratulations to the team."
Kerala Assembly Speaker AN Shamseer also highlighted the significance of India's historic victory at the T20 World Cup, calling it a proud moment for the country. He said, "It's inspiring for the people of this generation and strengthens the sports sector. The team, led by Rohit Sharma, was a mix of young and experienced players. The presence of Malayali player Sanju Samson in the team is a proud moment for Kerala. The team brought fame to our country through an exciting match. This victory marks a new beginning in the history of Indian cricket. We can be sure that India will achieve more victories in the future.
