Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) [India], April 14 (ANI): TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu expressed anger over the stone pelting incident during his meeting held in Visakhapatnam's Gajuwaka.
"Yesterday, a stone pelted on the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy while there was no electricity. Today, stones were pelted on me. The cannabis batch and blade batch are doing this work," he lashed out.
He further highlighted that stones were also thrown at Pawan Kalyan in Tenali. "We will also talk about the drama that happened yesterday in Vijayawada. Stones were thrown at me during the last election as well," he added.
He stated that he won't be afraid of this lingo of attacks.
"Electricity went out during the CM's roadshow yesterday. Who should be responsible? Action should be taken against those who pelted stones and blocked the current. What are Jagan's police and intelligence personnel doing?" he questioned.
Earlier, following the attack on Chief Minister Reddy, YSRCP complained against TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan with the Election Commission (EC), asking the poll body to initiate action against the two opposition leaders for making provocative statements.
Meanwhile, State Industries Minister and Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSR) candidate for Gajuwaka constituency, Gudivada Amarnath, led a protest condemning the recent attack on Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy stating that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders are attacking Jaganmohan Reddy because of his increasing popularity in the state.
On Saturday evening, CM Jagan was left with a deep cut above his left eyebrow, narrowly missing his eyes, after an unidentified person hurled a stone at the chief minister during the 'Memantha Siddham' bus yatra in Vijayawada, said sources. (ANI)
