AAP's 'high moral grounds' has been exposed: Congress
New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): Mocking the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the arrest of another MLA on charges of allegedly threatening a woman, Congress women's wing president Shobha Oza on said it exposes the 'high moral grounds' of the party. "We have seen time and again that the elected representatives of the AAP have misbehaved with women, recently one of their foot soldier committed suicide. And we have seen the other MLAs also misbehaving. The AAP claims of high moral grounds, but they stand expose today. It is condemnable," Oza told ANI here. She also said that the people of Delhi are suffering due to the blame game between the AAP and BJP. "If someone is affected by the fights between Kejriwal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi then it is the people of Delhi. It is the people who are suffering, the people who gave vote to Kejriwal ji and Modi ji in the hope that their problems will be looked upon," she added. AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan was arrested earlier in the day in connection with an incident which allegedly took place on July 10 when a 35-year-old woman went to his residence in South Delhi's Batla House locality after a telephonic conversation with him to complain about poor electricity supply in the area. The complainant has alleged that a supporter of Khan abused her on the orders of the AAP MLA. Khan is likely to be produced before the Saket Court this afternoon. However, the AAP yesterday rubbished the charges that its Okhla MLA misbehaved with the woman and instead claimed that the Delhi Police 'pressurised' the lady to give a false statement. (ANI)
