New Delhi [India], Mar 25 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for deleting voters from the voter list.
“How can voters exercise their voting right if their name is not in the list? The only innovative voter awareness campaign needed right now is to stop the mass deletion of voters' name started by the BJP,” AAP tweeted from its official handle.
Taking a jibe at PM Modi for his “#Votekar” campaign, AAP in a press release stated: “His insincere attempt exposes his double standard as his party BJP has engineered a massive voter deletion scam in Delhi wherein more than 30 lakh voters' names have been deleted from the electoral roll."
Using hashtag #VoteKar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday went on a tweet spree again urging celebrities from various fields to motivate people to vote in the ensuing Lok Sabha election. (ANI)
