AAP endorsing its party in names of Mohalla Clinic: Congress
New Delhi [India], Sept. 22 (ANI): The Congress on Thursday slammed the Aam Aadmi Party Government (AAP) and said that Arvind Kejriwal-led party is endorsing itself in the name of Mohalla Clinic. "Mohalla Clinic that is being run in New Delhi is just a type of advertisement. It is just a method to provide profit to its own party. We have sent our 216 public observers to these Mohalla clinics and number of flaws were found out there. There is ad-hocism in these clinics," Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken told the media. Maken claimed that the clinics which are opened for providing better medical facility to the people runs only for four hours and the facility provided on these clinics are not up to the mark. "All these clinics work only for four hours. They are opened at rented apartment owned by their own party members. People are selling milk and curd after four hours," he said. Maken also accused the party for providing benefits to their office bearers, adding that all these things are the main reason behind increase of dengue and chikungunya in the states and demanded transparency in the entire process. Last week, due to rising Chikungunya and dengue cases in the national capital, the Delhi Government issued a statement ordering that all mohalla clinics, polyclinics and dispensaries would remain open for all seven days of the week, including Sunday and gazetted holidays during their working hours till October 30. The leaves of all doctors have been cancelled until the situation is under control. (ANI)
