Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 4 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Minister OP Rajbhar took a dig at Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav over 'PDA Pathshala'- a recent initiative by the party and said PDA stands for 'Parivar Development Authority.'
On the Samajwadi Party's 'PDA Pathshala', Rajbhar told ANI, "Which PDA are they referring to? PDA stands for 'Parivar Development Authority.' These individuals started the 'PDA Pathshala,' where they teach A for 'Akhilesh,' D for 'Dimple,' and P for 'Parivar.' Where will Rajbhar, Prajapati, Pal, Chauhan, Lohar, Vishwakarma, Nishad, Bind, Kewat, Mallah, Kashyap, Arakvanshi, Banjara, Baheliya, Maurya, Saini, Mali, Kushwaha go? Where will all these go? In the name of luck, the backward communities' blood has been sucked. This will not be possible now."
Earlier on August 5, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav asserted that the reporters that 'PDA pathshala' "cannot be stopped" by the police
"The police cannot stop PDA Pathshala. The Chief Minister (Yogi Adityanath) himself must attend the pathshala and see the conditions. The government has itself accepted that it has closed many schools and also merged some of them... Samajwadi Party workers will teach students till the time new teachers are recruited for those schools..."
Earlier, responding to CM Yogi's statement on PDA Pathashala, SP MP Rajeev Rai accused the UP administration of closing the schools to pave the way for the bars.
"CM Yogi's language has never reflected that of a true yogi... We will not promote their WhatsApp university ideas... Their goal was to close the schools and open the bars. The reason for shutting down the schools was so that children of the poor, farmers, labourers, and students belonging to the PDA could not receive education. Therefore, the government continued to lie and emotionally provoke them, but they were exposed. I congratulate our SP parliamentarians who roared so loudly in Parliament that they had to back down the next day. We will also roll back the government in the 2027 elections."
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary came down heavily on SP for lessons being taught in its 'PDA paathshala' while accusing them of promoting nepotism, claiming that it remains fundamental to the party.(ANI)
