71st I-Day: Yogi Adityanath pledges to create employment opportunities

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India] August 15 (ANI): On the occasion of Independence Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that new policies will be initiated for the youth, who are migrating to metropolitan cities in search of employment opportunities. "If Uttar Pradesh will provide them with employment opportunities then the youth will not have to leave the state. We have also made radical changes in the field of education. We will provide uniform to children from every sector then children of farmers, laborers, and minorities will take the country forward," Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said, after hoisting the tricolour here. He further said that the State Government will make sure that India is one of the frontrunner nations. "Only collective power can lead to the creation of a collective country. The purpose of our work should be for public welfare, and not for any caste and religion. We want to see Uttar Pradesh at the forefront of all fields," the Chief Minister added. He said that people must not forget that they have to work under the Constitution of the country, "To protect the borders of the country, our soldiers have left everything. We have to maintain their sacrifice." He further asked the people of Uttar Pradesh to resolute that from 2017 to 2022 the state will fall under best state category. "India is free from issues like terrorism and racism, and its initiative will have to be taken from Uttar Pradesh. We have to create a new direction for a fresh start," Adityanath added. Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar unfurled the tricolor in Patna. He reiterated his commitment to good governance and battling corruption, adding Bihar was on the path of justice-laced development. "The liquor ban has helped to change village environs. It is a harbinger of social change and reform. The Janata Dal-United (JD(U)) has speeded up efforts to provide tap water and electricity to all households besides toilets as well," Kumar added. Further, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh unfurled the tricolor in their state's capitals respectively. (ANI)
