New Delhi [India], Feb. 9 (ANI): About 2,000 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troops are stuck in Jammu since three days due to bad weather conditions.

2,000 CRPF jawans stuck in Jammu for three days due to bad weather
New Delhi [India], Feb. 9 (ANI): About 2,000 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troops are stuck in Jammu since three days due to bad weather conditions. The CRPF has sought help of the Indian Air Force (IAF) to airlift them, who had gathered in Jammu after completing their leaves and other deployments outside and are waiting to report back to their respective units spread out in the Valley. There are around 45 units of CRPF deployed in Kashmir on Counter Insurgency and counter terrorism operation. In January this year, 21 people including 15 soldiers had lost their lives after two avalanches hit Gurez Sector of Bandipura district of Jammu and Kashmir. (ANI)
