'Sore loser' Kejriwal caught with hand in cookie jar: BJP
New Delhi [India], Apr 21 (ANI): In a scathing attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ahead of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday described him as a sore loser. It asserted that the V.K. Shunglu-led committee report has clearly indicated that Kejriwal misused his public office for personal gain. "He is a sore loser. He seems to be losing everywhere as you can see. He has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. As you know, the Shunglu report clearly says and states, and ironically, this is the same Shunglu report that made him the chief minister in the first place, and it is the second Shunglu report which actually very clearly, with facts, states that Arvind Kejriwal really benefitted and misused the public office for personal gains," BJP leader Shazia Ilmi told ANI. Shazia further opined that Kejriwal was acting in a brazen manner and is lying to the people of Delhi time and again. "Instead of apologising to the people of Delhi and saying that he has failed them, resigning, he is actually disappearing from the situation. He is acting so brazenly and is lying once again. He knows that he has lost." Shazia claimed that Kejriwal is trying to cast aspersions on the electoral process of the country. "Now, the Delhi High Court is also rejecting his (Kejriwal) plea. I don't understand on what basis Arvind went there, but the answer is very clear. Arvind is trying to cast aspersions on the electoral process of this country. Now, the question is who will he blame because he was blaming the two LGs, the Prime Minister, the Delhi Police, the Delhi bureaucrats, the Election Commission. Now, will he blame the Delhi High Court and all the judges. Maybe he might but who cares," Shazia said. (ANI)
