YSRCP condemns coalition govt's "falsehood" on liquor scam in Parliament

Amaravathi (Andhra Pradesh) [India], March 25 (ANI): The Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) has strongly condemned the coalition government for misusing the Parliament to spread falsehoods about the perceived liquor scam, miserably failing to get central funds, and leaving the pending state issues at bay, according to a press statement.
Speaking to media at separate press conferences here on Tuesday, Tirupati MP Guru Moorthy and former minister Perni Nani said that the collation has left all its election promises to wind, and all sections of people are disgusted with the governance.
This apart, the ruling coalition is foisting false cases against the YSRCP cadre and harassing them. Despite having 21 members in the House, the coalition MPs miserably failed to get the due funds to the State, they said, and are misusing the time of the Lok Sabha by confining themselves to level false allegations against YSRCP leaders.
TDP MP Lavu Krishnadevarayalu spoke on the non-existent liquor scam but never mentioned the charges against Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development case. The ED and IT had issued summons, though the roles of Yogesh Gupta and Monoj had been established by Central agencies.
As per the statement, Chandrababu has no say at the Centre, though he is trying to fix his adversaries in some case or the other.
TDP is trying to fix Peddiraddi Ramachndra Reddy, though he has nothing to do with the excise Department. They are also trying to involve Rajkasireddy and Mithun Reddy in the case and are bringing a bad name to the police department.
After YS Jaan Mohan Reddy came to power, he closed down 43,000 belt shops and reduced the liquor sale hours. In such a scenario, who will bribe and whom, they asked. YSRCP did not permit any of the defaulters, nor has it permitted liquor brands. Chandrababu has given permission to all the brands in the market, but TDP has been spreading canards against YSRCP, they said.
Instead of raising Polavaram, VSP, and other state issues, the Narsaraopet MP has been raising issues to please Chandrababu Naidu, they said. (ANI)
