Youth stabbed after dispute in Tripura's Sipahijala, probe on

A youth was severely injured allegedly after being stabbed by another over a dispute at Sonamura in Tripura's Sipahijala district on Thursday.

Agartala (Tripura) [India], May 10 (ANI): A youth was severely injured allegedly after being stabbed by another over a dispute at Sonamura in Tripura's Sipahijala district on Thursday, police said.
According to officials, the victim has been identified as Ali Hussein.
There was a heated argument between the victim and another person, identified as Abdul Rashid over an issue.
The argument soon turned into a heated one, and the accused Rashid, in a fit of rage, took out a knife and stabbed the victim.
The accused soon after stabbing the victim, fled from the spot.
Locals of the area after hearing the victim's cry, reached the spot, took him to a hospital and admitted him there in critical condition, they said.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered and the police have initiated a probe into the same.
